People Who Live Longer Have A Supercharged Immune Cells

New research reveals that people who live longer than 110 years have a  much larger concentration of  rare type of T helper cells in their blood. These Immune cells let these people live a very healthy life for much longer durations. The reseach was carried in Japan. The researchers took the blood samples of 7 people over 110 years and 5 people in the age between 50 to 80. They found that older people had twice the concentration of immune cells as compared to the younger ones. The study might not be conclusive as the sample size is small but its valuable to see how these Cytotoxic T cells behave in humans.
