NASA Spotted A New Kind Of Magnetic Eruption On The Sun

Astronomers from NASA have recently observed a magnetic explosion on the Sun that was caused by a nearby eruption. Emerging from the upper surface of the Sun’s atmosphere, this explosion was falling back into a web of magnetic field lines, which was reconnecting them in a distinct X shape. Researchers feel that this observation may help to explain why the upper layers of the Sun’s atmosphere appears to be much hotter than areas closer to the surface. As of now they will continue to observe it for further research.
