Long-term Skin Irritation Could Promote The Tumour Growth

A new study revealed that the IgE antibody, which is known to protect skin from the infection could help tumors to develop when the skin is exposed to chronic inflammation. The IgE antibody is usually found in healthy skin and believed to protect skin from the parasitic infections. However, the new research revealed that prolonged infection caused by repeated susceptibility to skin-irritating chemicals may turn this valuable support into a dangerous one. Researchers believe that the findings suggest that the process of tumor growth, and the role of IgE in this process, may depend on different kinds of environmental susceptibility.
