Exploring The Supernova Central

NASA Hubble Space Telescope recently captured an astonishing spiral pattern in galaxy NGC 5468. This galaxy is known to host a number of supernovae events in the last 20 years. Supernova usually appears when stars collapse and it often occurs in one of two ways. In the first scenario, when a  huge star consumes its fuel at the end of its life and becomes unstable to balance the weight that causes it to fall and eventually it explodes. While in another scenario, a white dwarf in an orbiting stellar couple exhausts more mass off its partner that ignites an elusive nuclear fusion in its core and start the supernova process.
