Researchers from Imperial College London have claimed that they are among the first to test vaccines for the new coronavirus on mice that have killed more than 1,000 people so far. The major goal of the researchers is to find an effective vaccination to halt the spread of the virus to more people by the end of the year. Although, there have been claims of conducting animal testing from China, but the official sources have yet to confirm the reports.Britain has already registered eight cases of the virus and closed its two medical centers where two staff members tested positive. The development of vaccination includes series of animal testing and clinical trials. Only after that, researchers can determine it is safe for use and start its mass production. The scientists are calling this a collaborative race to find an effective and safe way of halting new coronavirus.
