The bacteria in our stomachs have been associated with several diseases such as diabetes, arthritis, etc. Now, scientists have revealed that “microbiome”, the collection of bacteria in our stomach can predict the presence of many diseases better than our own genes and can even predict our risk of dying within the next 15 years. The research indicates that stomach bacteria were 20% accurate at diagnosing the diseases than our genes. Researchers consider this research as pathbreaking and will continue to pay more attention to the tiny residents in our stomachs
