Yoga May Help To Reduce Anxiety And Depression

A new study reveals that Yoga may help to reduce the symptoms of depression and anxiety. The researchers divided the 32 participants with extreme depressive disorder into two groups to take high and low doses of Yoga.  The high-dose group took three 90-minute yoga classes a week and done four 30-minute yoga sessions at home. The low-dose group took two yoga classes and done three at-home sessions. The experiment was carried out for 12 weeks. Researchers observed improvements in both groups regarding depression, anxiety and sleeping disorder. However, the improvements were more visible in the high-dose yoga group.
