Children have been playing since the stone age. But evidence of their imaginary worlds and games is rare to find in the archeological records. Over the last few years, researchers have started taking an interest in the ancient children and their toys. Due to this research, we are getting some ideas about the toys and games that children used to play in the past. However, the other major issue with ancient toys is that much of children’s play happened in their imaginations and these behaviors rarely leave a trace for the archaeologists.
