They found that it has direct connection to the Orangutan. The giant ape, which lived in a warm and humid climate in China, was known to weigh up to 600 kilograms based on fossil evidence.With the help of this research, researchers have proved that protein sequencing can be helpful in retrieving ancient genetic information from primates living in subtropical areas even when the fossil are very old
