Researchers from the University of California Berkeley discovered a natural change in the inherent visual ability to pinpoint the specific location and size of objects. In an experiment, nine individuals discovered ‘dramatic variations’ in the ability to resolve fine details as well as variances in finding location and size. The variations are due to how the brain processes visual stimuli, the academics believe, but the exact neural network liable for the variation remains unexplained. Researchers believe the study might help suggest that the origin of our visual deficiencies can arise from our brain, further investigations are required to uncover the neural basis.
