Scientists have recently carried out a study of blue-green algae to build their useful components. The study revealed that the plant has several microorganisms that hold healing qualities. The research confirmed that algae can quickly heal the wounds of diabetic patients. Doctors have noted that it is not in the plant and the bacteria contained therein. This application has proved its effectiveness just for diabetics. The healing was accelerated by 45 percent in the case of the disease. Scientists are now hoping to test the application in larger animals before moving forward to human clinical trials.
