Life in space is supposed to have several impacts on the human body. Now, a study indicates that “the weightless state like outer space can suppress the progression of cancer”.The researchers have designed a device with a small centrifuge placed in a tissue box-sized container and put cancer cells in a pod inside the centrifuge to form a simulated microgravity situation. The next step, which will take place at the beginning of 2020, will send a specially designed experiment module to the International Space Station for investigations under zero gravity with the cooperation of astronauts.
