A team of international researchers recently came across one of the spectacular deep-sea aliens, known as siphonophores, that were sweeping the ocean off the coast of Australia. Researchers used the ROVs and sonar to explore the biologically rich western coast region of Australia. Researchers noticed that the outer ring was around 47 meters long. Moreover, the mysterious creature is composed of tiny individuals called zooids, who often clone themselves thousands of times into one of several flavors. Researchers believe several siphonophores are drifting out there in the ocean, along with other mysterious creatures they associate with.
