As humans are exploiting the elements for technological innovation, we are running out of natural elements. These elements were formed billions of years ago and limited in stock. Several countries are now seeking fresh sources of raw materials to meet their industrial requirements. However, decades after the heavy industrial activity, we are also left with untreated human waste products full of reclaimable elements. Now scientists have been figuring out alternate ways such as deep-sea minings, Asteroid Mining, recycling of solid waste, etc to replace our deteriorating resources and keep up with a growing, modernizing world. With this study, researchers are aiming to utilize essential elements from both natural ores and human-made wastes.
