Google is collaborating with NASA for developing Quantum computers. A paper that appeared briefly on the NASA website claimed that an innovative new machine had demonstrated “quantum supremacy” ,a term coined by Caltech Professor John Preskill . To understand the magnitute of the achievement of the device, it can perform a task in 3 mins that would take a regular computer 10,000 years. Quantum computers use quantum physics and unlike the basic binary elements of classical computers, or bits, which represent either 0s or 1s , they use quantum bits, or qubits, which represent both at the same time.
