Data collected from the newly installed weather stations on top of Mount Everest reveals that the mountain experiences intense heat from the sun. Data suggests that the effect of heat is so strong that it can be referred to as the most intense heating anywhere on the Earth’s surface. Researchers reveal that at very high altitudes, whenever water refreezes ,it releases heat energy in air that makes the surrounding snow and ice warmer and denser. As of now all the five stations are holding up well but researchers expressed concern over the wind blowing rocks that can damage the critical instrumentation of the weather stations.
