New Therapy To Treat The Heart Failure Patients

A new therapy developed by researchers from Yale Cardiovascular Medicine shows that direct sodium removal (DSR) is a reliable way to remove excess sodium from the body, which increases the risk of stroke and heart failure. The researchers gave the dose of DSR solution to the patients with kidney failure which effectively removed over four-times the amount of sodium than the standard method. Moreover, the patients did not show any side effects after the therapy which often observed in standard methods. Researchers are now doing further research to test the safety and effectiveness of DSR  therapy when combined with other therapies.
