New Promising Technology For Cosmetics Users

Students from the College of Information Sciences and Technology presented a model for their final project that executes an existing Clinique cosmetic app with cosmetics education and on-site purchase. Students presented a seven-minute engaging pitch for their idea to build innovative solutions for cosmetics users. Their model included a face scan that shows a personalized use of the products, an online subscription for the delivery of customized cosmetics and the photos to track the progress of the products on the user. Jennifer Brant-Gargan, IST alumna and Clinique global technology lead for Estee Lauder Companies, Inc. was present to watch their presentations. “If students thoroughly ingest these concepts, it will serve them in everything that they do in their careers”, she added.
