Long-life Linked To Education, Study Suggests

Life expectancy in the United States has been significantly declining due to inaccessible health care, drug addiction, and mental disorders, and socio-economic factors, etc. Now, a new study has figured out the impact of race and education on life expectancy. The study involved 5,114 black and white individuals in four U.S. cities. The data revealed that nearly 9% of blacks are dying at an early age as compared to 6% of white individuals. Moreover, they also noticed differences in date rates on education level. Nearly 13% of participants with a high school degree or less education died as compared to 5% of college graduates. Researchers considered these findings important as this will help to overcome all the factors that are involved in the reduction of life expectancy among middle-aged adults.
