How Long Will IT Take For Already Launched Spacecraft To Reach Other Star Systems?

Researchers from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy and Jet Propulsion Laboratory at CIT have invented a new method to figure out how long it will take for already launched spacecraft to reach other star systems. Researchers used the Gaia space telescope to calculate the path of four spacecraft namely Pioneer 10 and 11 and Voyager 1 and 2 which have already completed their respective missions. Their research revealed that the four spacecraft will come slightly close to around 60 stars over the next 1 million years and Pioneer 10 will likely be the first spacecraft to pass by a star system. They also revealed that all the four spacecraft will keep traveling for a very long time until they strike with a star system.
