Judges from the Insight Investment Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2020 contest have shortlisted the remarkable images of cosmic phenomena submitted by the Amateur and professional space photographers from nearly 70 countries. Shortlist images display the active regions on the sun’s surface; the aftermath of stellar explosions; star trails over a desert landscape, etc. Judges will choose one overall winner from the shortlisted photos and prizes will also be awarded for the top photos in nine categories. Judges believe astrophotography bridges the gap between art and science, highlighting the natural beauty of our universe.
