Dance’ Study Hopes To Conserve Booty-shaking Honeybees

The constant booty-shaking of honey bees has finally been decoded in a study that examined over 1,500 bee dances known as “waggle dances”. The researchers analyzed their waggle dances and were able to successfully decode 1,528 different dance moves in an attempt that must surely form the Rosetta stone of booty shakes.  This research comes at a crucial time for bees, which are in decline and currently under siege from a host of unknown pathogens. The study aimed to provide on-the-ground information to better notify conservation groups working to prevent the decline of honey bees by providing detailed insights into their dietary choices.
