The calculator created by Particle physicist Álvaro Díez is customizable and calculates how much a black hole would expand and the amount of energy it would release if it swallows the Earth. According to his calculations, the black hole would release 55 quintillion times the planet’s annual energy consumption after absorbing the earth. However, the analysis of a black hole destroying the earth that appears next to the results doesn’t change to match any increasingly silly collisions.
