Activate The Cells That Retain Our Muscles From Wasting Away After 30

As we approach the 30’s, our muscles start shrinking away, however, with a little bit of effort we can regenerate our muscles and counter this effect. Cellular biologist William Chen and colleagues from the University of Ottawa in Canada have found proof that satellite cells can be stimulated through different signaling pathways following exercise. The satellite cells are responsible for muscle growth, or regeneration after injury. Multiple studies carried out by researchers on human training sessions clearly indicate an increase in satellite cell generation. Researchers are now recommending more research to understand the specific mechanisms of satellite cell replacement or their behavior during exercise.
