A Cloud Of Invisible Particles Appears To Be Lost From Our Galaxy

A group of astrophysicists from the University of California, Berkeley, has failed to locate any dark matter, the invisible stuff that holds galaxies together, within the Milky Way. As per the scientific theories, dark matter consists of a theoretical subatomic particle known as a sterile neutrino. When sterile neutrinos decline, they’re believed to release x-rays at a specific wavelength. Astrophysicists used different ways to search for this glowing halo within our galaxy. But they end up finding nothing, potentially demystifying the sterile neutrino model. However, few astrophysicists believe using a different methodology has potentially altered the search results.
