Scientists Discovered A New Way To Stabilise And Control Fusion Reactors

Scientists from Princeton University have discovered a new method to stabilize the white-hot and volatile plasma that rolls inside of tokamak reactors. Most of the fusion reactors use light elements as a plasma, however, the major drawback of this plasma is that it is extremely hot and unpredictable. Researchers have found that injecting radio frequency waves that heat the fusion reactions inside a tokamak reactor could help to reduce the chance of bubble-like structures that can mess up the fusion reactions. The breakthrough is considered as an incremental step towards making fusion energy a reality.
