As the novel coronavirus is continuously spreading across the world, researchers are actively searching for a potential drug to combat this deadly virus. As if now, health experts are mainly emphasizing on quarantines to stop the spread of the virus in the community. Since, the new coronavirus has no potential cure, fighting this virus might require a more alternative approach and one of them is using old drugs such as drugs for HIV or hepatitis C to cure the new coronavirus. However, these drugs haven’t been approved to treat this disease but they might prove to be a promising solution to tackle this virus.
