Investigators have uncovered a “mammoth house” in Russia that hunters and gatherers have constructed using 60 mammoths dating back to the Ice Age. Investigators have uncovered 70 bone structures that include 51 lower jaws and 64 mammoth skulls. Besides, it also includes remains of the arctic fox, red fox, wolves, bears, reindeers, and horses. Investigators have assumed that these structures were built by Paleolithic people in the Ice Age to serve as their residences. The scientists have used a new technique called flotation to separate the material from soil using some water and sieves. This is not the first time such discovery has been made in Russia, though it is the biggest and oldest one they have witnessed so far.
