Researchers from Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology have demonstrated that a smart heating and cooling control system doesn’t necessarily have to be pre-programmed.Using the temperature data from the previous year and the current weather forecast, they developed a new self-learning heating control system that is able to sense the behavior of building with a precise estimate. The newly developed self-learning heating control system offers great comfort and cost-effectiveness, and soon will be available for individual apartments and private homes.
