Researchers have succeeded to uncover the first step in chromatin remodeling to expose the underlying target gene by using a combination of chemical biology and biophysical methods.This method will help to contribute in the development of genetic engineering tools. Researchers studied a yeast pioneer transcription factor known as Rap1 and observed that it operates chromatin remodeling. This will help the researchers to access all the blocked protein required for gene expression at the level of a single molecule.
